Sweet Simplici-Tea Tea Room and Gift Shoppe opened for business June 2008 in Historic Downtown Sykesville and is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy an afternoon tea lunch with friends.

All foods are prepared on the premises. Sweet Simplici-Tea is available to host your special event and will tailor menu items and arrangements to your specifications.

Scones To Go

Our homemade scones are available "to go." Available by the single scone, half dozen or dozen and accompanied by creams, appropriate preserves and spreads. Perfect for office meetings, club meetings and parties. Call ahead for your order.

House Dressing To Go

Sweet Simplici-Tea is excited to offer our delicious House Dressing bottled in 8 oz. jars! The price per jar is $6.95. This is after many requests and we thank you. Come in for Royal Tea, have a mixed green salad with vegetables and fruits and taste our dressing. You'll want to take some home too!

Sweet Simplici-Tea offers a variety of sweet treats daily. Desserts from our monthly menu available to go upon request. Ask your server for pricing information. Scones to go available on a daily basis. Larger orders will require advanced notice please.

Sweet Simplici-Tea prides itself on being a place where our guests can come and relax in a lovely Victorian setting, enjoy delectable foods and tea steeped to perfection. It is a place to escape for a short period of time the busyness of life, to catch up on relationships and friendships, to celebrate life and its occasions. For these reasons we have adopted the policy that we are unable to accommodate birthday parties for children 6 years of age and younger in our dining room. We do hope that you will appreciate and respect this decision. We do continue to encourage moms and grandmoms to bring their daughters and granddaughters in for tea, to educate them on tea and introduce them to a charming experience! Thank you.
